Wow, Kaya is 13 years old. Unfortunately she was sick on her birthday.

Carl Jensen, Merek's primary teacher, came up to Ryan in church on Sunday and said,
"Hey, today in class I asked the kids if any of them knew who the Saints were.
Merek's response was 'Yeah, they are the football team in New Orleans.' "
Not the answer he was looking for.
I just wanted to take some pictures of my kids. That's it, nothing exciting. I didn't do their hair or wash their faces, or anything. I wanted pictures of them just as they are...not all primped.
None of them were very excited to be there, obviously. I was so frustrated after about 6 minutes we came home. I didn't even photoshop them because I was so disappointed. Oh well. I guess I got what I asked for. My kids, just as they are!

1. I have this weird habit of saying things exactly as they are. Ask me my opinion and I will tell you.
2. I can not stand a dirty rag in the sink. Like when the kids wipe down the counter and then just throw the rag into the sink with out rinsing it out first. Gross...you might as well just throw the rag away.
3. I have no tolerance for negative thinkers. Put a smile on and get over yourself!
4. I make my kids shower every night, even if they showered in the morning. Sleeping in kid dirt, no way, even if you are a kid.
5. My socks never match.
6. I don't eat breakfast foods for breakfast. Too sweet, gives me a belly ache. I would take a cheeseburger over pancakes any time of the day, including 8:00am.

I have been playing volleyball with my ward lately. Last night we had a big tournament and I took my kids to the stake center with me so they could watch. Well, it was getting late (because we kept winning!) and I called Ryan to come get them so they could get ready for bed. Ryan said "sure, just have them wait by the door."
Ryan pulls up the back of the church and sees what he thinks is Akasha and Merek playing around in one of the rooms. Ryan gets out of the car, sneaks up to the window and pounds on it really hard. Then he proceeds to go into the church and into that room. Well, he walked right in on a meeting with about 12 women. He just looked up and said "sorry". All the women just started cracking up.
He is hoping no one reading this post was in that room!
Kashi got to play volleyball with her best friend Morgen and she made a few new friends along the way. Unfortunately we only won 1 game...but the girls had alot of fun.
I love being in Young Women's. It is my dream calling!
